On 15 June 2021, Mr. Tokarev, President of Transneft, made a working trip to Samara Region, where he visited Transneft Volga Region’s operating facilities. The delegation also included Pavel Revel-Muroz and Boris Korol, Vice Presidents of Transneft, and Vladimir Kalanda, Deputy Vice President.
The Transneft delegation visited operating facilities at the Samara site in Volzhsky District of Samara Region, where a comprehensive revamping programme is being implemented. A total of 99 facilities will be commissioned by 2024 as part of the programme, including 26 tanks, 2 compounding units and 12 booster pump units; 3 oil pumping stations will be revamped; 5.4 km of process pipelines will be replaced. To date, 76 facilities have been commissioned.
The total volume of capital investments under this programme will amount to over RUB 37 billion. The goal of the comprehensive revamping is to ensure the reliability and safety of operating facilities.
Representatives of Transneft management inspected specialised firefighting equipment manufactured by Transneftemash and firefighting vehicles used by Transneft Volga Region jointly with the Main Directorate of EMERCOM of Russia for Samara Region to ensure protection of hazardous operating facilities with the maximum tank farm volume.
At the Samara site, Mr. Tokarev held a meeting with employees of Transneft Volga Region, answered current production and social issues of workers.
In particular, questions related to the digitalisation of company's operations, including the Informax system introduction, which allows all pipeline design, construction and operation processes to be integrated into a single software package. Distance learning and further training in a wide range of professions, corporate pension accrual, as well as aspects of employees' telecommuting activities were also discussed.
