Personnel of Transneft Volga Region have participated in the Samarskaya Liniya Uspekha - 2019 (Samara Success Line - 2019) forum, held at the Samara-Arena stadium.
The ceremony of awarding the winners of the Professional of the Year contest was one of the key events of the forum. The contest is held by the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Migration Policy of Samara Region annually with the aim to increase the prestige of blue-collar jobs and to share best practices.
Aleksandr Kvasov, a processing units repairman at Pokrovskaya oil pumping station is among the prize-winners of the Professional of the Year contest. Kvasov has been employed at Samara Regional Oil Pipeline Directorate of Transneft Volga Region for more than 36 years. Governor of Samara Region Dmitry Azarov handed the award to him.
The forum also hosted the awards ceremony for the winners of the XI regional competition for best occupational health company operating in Samara Region. Samara Regional Oil Pipeline Directorate of Transneft Volga Region took third place in the Best Organisation of Occupational Health Activities among Production Companies (with Headcount Exceeding 500 Employees) category.
Five best authorised trade union organisations in the field of occupational health working at the enterprises of the region were also named. Pavel Ozheredov, Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Samara Region, handed the award to Natalia Popova, representative of Volgograd Regional Oil Pipeline Directorate (RPD) of Transneft Volga Region.
The forum also included a regional conference on occupational health, an exhibition of companies manufacturing personal protective equipment and other companies working in the region, as well as seminars and conferences attended by the Company's specialists.
At its booth, Transneft Volga Region shared information on the Company’s occupational health activities and showed movies on the key aspects of Transneft’s work in the field of occupational health.
Samarskaya Liniya Uspekha is an event where government authorities, organisations and companies, higher educational institutions and representatives of the professional community can meet and interact. Events dedicated to employment, labour relations and conditions as well as occupational health are held at the forum.
