Transneft Volga Region Wins Prize in Occupational Safety Competition

The team of Transneft Volga Region has taken third place in the Occupational Safety Day competition that was organised by Caspian Pipeline Consortium (Russia) in Krasnodar.

In total, eight teams participated in the competition. The purpose of the event was to increase the motivation of personnel in the field of occupational, industrial, fire and environmental safety.

Participants demonstrated their knowledge and skills in areas such as provision of premedical first aid to victims of accidents at work, road safety, work at height, risk analysis related to potentially dangerous situations, ability to respond correctly in case of emergencies at a facility, firefighting, electrical safety and use of personal and collective protection equipment.

Transneft Volga Region's combined team consisted of 15 blue collars from the Central Production Service Shop and Samara, Buguruslan, Saratov and Volgograd regional oil pipeline directorates, as well as engineering and technical staff of the executive office.

As a result of the competition, Transneft Volga Region's team was awarded a cup and also won the Mind Games intellectual contest.
