Transneft Volga Region has participated in the 12th international specialised Oil Production. Refining. Chemistry expo, hosted by the Expo-Volga exhibition centre in Samara on 23–25 October.
Mikhail Zhdanov, the Minister of Trade and Industry of Samara Region, attended Transneft Volga Region’s display on the opening day. Dmitry Buzlayev, Director General of the Company, spoke about implementation of current projects and the outcomes of energy saving and import substitution efforts.
Transneft Volga Region’s display offered the visitors multimedia materials providing information about the Company and Transneft. Among other things, the visitors were able learn about the Company’s achievements in energy saving, the projects covered by the long-term development programme, the list of products manufactured by Transneft’s plants and the results of the Company’s charitable activities in Samara Region. The exhibition’s visitors could take a virtual tour of an oil pumping station.
The exhibition’s business agenda included conferences and roundtables, during which Transneft Volga Region’s employees talked about the technologies they use and cooperation with universities within the Company’s HR policy, namely about the phases of cooperation with Samara State Technical University.
The Oil Production. Refining. Chemistry international specialised exposition is held in Samara annually and is the industry’s biggest exhibition project in Volga Federal District. The event brings together top companies from Samara Region, Volga Federal District and other Russian regions as well as representatives of the CIS and other countries. The expo’s participants display new technologies and projects in petrochemical industry, in the field of environmental protection, energy saving, occupational and industrial safety.
