Transneft Volga Region has put into operation a house for shift teams at Karaichevo line operation dispatcher station (LODS) affiliated with Volgograd Regional Oil Pipeline Directorate (RPD).
A shift team house is a single-storey building to accommodate professionals who take business trips to facilities of Volgograd RPD, including scheduled repairs. The installation is a standard modular-type building.
Twin rooms are envisaged to accommodate 20 persons. The house is outfitted with up-to-date furniture and household appliances. The common living area has a lounge and a canteen. The amenity area hosts WCs, shower rooms, cloakrooms and a laundry with washing and drying machines.
Modern heating, ventilation and lighting systems are installed to make the employees’ stay more comfortable. High-quality domestically produced materials and equipment help save thermal energy and electricity, which meets the concepts of Transneft’s occupational health, energy efficiency, industrial and environmental safety policy. Landscaping was performed in the adjacent territory; an approach motorway was built.
The facility was constructed under the technical upgrading and revamping (TUR) programme of Transneft Volga Region for 2018–2023.
Transneft Volga Region places special emphasis on social aspects of its operations, such as maintaining comfortable work and recreation conditions for its employees, enhanced manufacturing, household and nourishment standards at regional directorates and PSs.
In 2017, Volgograd RPD saw putting into operation of shift team houses at Novomlinovo, Astakhovo and Satarovskaya oil pumping stations (PSs). Two modern sanitary and amenity buildings were built at Kuzmichi LODS and Peshchanokopskaya PS.
In 2018, a shift team house with a new large canteen was constructed at Bolshaya Chernigovka PS affiliated with Samara RPD.
