Transneft Volga Region successfully passed the audits of the quality management system (QMS). The international certification audit of the quality management system was carried out at the Central Production Service Shop (CPSS) of the company; the external audit of the quality management system for provision of oil and petroleum products transfer services finished at the executive office of Transneft Volga Region.
Development and introduction of the quality management system at CPSS according to the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015 commenced in 2016. Main processes were identified, tasks and goals defined, and responsible persons assigned for an efficient functioning and implementation of QMS. An internal audit, which checked the readiness of specialists and managers for the international certification audit, was carried out in June 2017.
SSU DQS, LLC (Yaroslavl), Russian branch of the international audit and certification holding DQS, carried out the certification audit of QMS at CPSS. Compliance of QMS with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard, capability to provide the fulfillment of the established regulatory requirements, and QMS efficiency were assessed in the course of the audit.
A conclusion on the compliance of the quality management system with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard was made and a respective certificate with the scope “Production and repair of products for trunk oil transport” was issued according to the audit results.
The quality management system developed according to the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015 will enable CPSS of Transneft Volga Region to continuously improve the production processes, optimize the activities in general, and steadily maintain the high quality of products.
Introduction of the quality management system for provision of oil and petroleum products transfer services according to the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015 at Transneft Volga Region started in April of the current year. Preparatory stages for development and approval of the QMS model and goals were completed; performance indicators were defined; specialists and managers were trained. An internal audit of QMS was carried out at Transneft Volga Region in July and external auditors conducted the inspection at the end of September.
The result of the external audit is the compliance of Transneft Volga Region with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015 in the area of provision of oil and petroleum products transfer services.
