Employees of five subsidiaries of Transneft participated in the sports activity “National Cross-Country Race - 2017” in Samara Region. Employees of Transneft Volga Region, Chernomortransneft, Transneft Urals, Transneft Siberia, Transneft Upper Volga participated in the races near the lake Sakulino in Novokuybyshevsk.
Transneft Volga Region was represented by the employees from Samara, Saratov, Volgograd Regional Oil Pipeline Directorates (ROPD), Central Production Service Shop and Non-State Educational Institution of Additional Professional Education Novokuibyshev Training School.
The competitions’ programme included races with the distances of 1,000, 2,000, 4,000, 6,000, 8,000 and 12,000 metres. Special distance of 300 metres was organized for children. Besides, a race with the distance of 2018 metres, devoted to the coming Football World Championship, was organized.
Irina Vlasova, chemical analysis laboratory assistant of Volgograd ROPD of Transneft Volga Region, and Tatiana Arteeva, chemical analysis laboratory assistant of Transneft Siberia, became the prize-winners of the races among women with the distance of 1,500 metres.
The winners of the “National Cross-Country Race” were awarded with medals and commemorative prizes of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation.
The all-Russian “National Cross-Country Race” is a large-scale sports activity with great number of participants and large geographical coverage, conducted in Russia. People of all ages and with any athletic performance level participate in the competitions. Annually the race joins about 1.5 million race lovers from more than 80 regions of the country.
This year more than 15 thousand people - representatives of enterprises and organizations, students and schoolchildren - participated in the activity in Samara Region. Employees of Transneft Volga Region traditionally participate in the “National Cross-Country Race”.
