Transneft Volga Region has resumed the results of implementation of the ecology tour program for young professionals

Transneft Volga Region has resumed the 2017 results of implementation of the ecology tour program for young professionals. The program events were correlated with the Year of Ecology announced in the Russian Federation and in Transneft.

More than 200 young professionals of the Company took part in educational tours, including those offering various lectures on nature protection and environmental safety.

Thus, young professionals of the Samara Regional Oil Pipeline Directorate (RPD) and the central production service shop (CPSC) visited the Samara Bend (Samarskaya Luka) Natural Park (Samara Region). Professionals of the Volgograd RPD took a trip to the Shcherbakovskiy natural park (Kamyshin District, Volgograd Region). The employees of the Buguruslan RPD took a tour to Buzuluk Pine Forest (Buzuluksky Bor) (Orenburg Region), the employees of Saratov RPD visited the arboretum of the South East Agriculture Research Institute and had a walk in the Grachevskaya Dacha forest area (Saratov Region).

The aim of ecology tours is to attract the attention of young professionals to environmental protection issues and introduce them to natural parks located in the regions where Transneft Volga Region operates.

In 2017 Transneft Volga Region proved compliance of the enterprise’s environmental management system with the international standard ISO 14001-2004.

Within the Year of Ecology Transneft Volga Region holds environmental cleanups in the regions of the enterprise’s  production activity, your tree planting events, continues to restore aquatic biological resources in the water bodies of the Volga and Caspian, the Azov and Black Sea and the Middle Volga basins and carries out a lot of other activities.
