Transneft Volga Region, JSC completed replacement of a section of the Pokrovka-Krotovka oil trunk pipeline

Buguruslan Regional Oil Pipeline Department of Transneft Volga Region, JSC completed the work on connection of a newly built section to the operated oil pipeline.

The work was performed within the implementation of the Technical Upgrading, Revamping and Overhaul Program (TUR) during the scheduled shutdown of the Pokrovka-Krotovka oil trunk pipeline. 

A pipe of 15.87 km in length, submerged crossings through small water streams of Mokraya Chernovka River and Kurtamak River, and stop valve station at the 159th kilometer of the oil pipeline were replaced in the course of the work.

In 2015, it is planned to replace 152.32 km of the linear section, incl. 6.913 km in four submerged crossings. Most projects are located on the Kuybyshev-Lisichansk oil trunk pipeline in the territory of Samara, Saratov, Volgograd, and Rostov Regions.

- Oil and oil product quantity and quality measuring system;

- Power-generating equipment;
- Buildings and structures;
- Utility vehicles, special purpose machinery and other facilities.
