Transneft Volga Region conducted scheduled repairs in the period of shutdowns of seven oil trunk pipelines (OTP): Buguruslan – Syzran, Guriev – Kuybyshev, Bavly – Kuybyshev, Krotovka – Kuybyshev, Sernye Vody – Krotovka, Kuleshovka – Krotovka, Krasnoarmeisk – Saratov refinery.
Transneft Volga Region successfully passed the audits of the quality management system (QMS). The international certification audit of the quality management system was carried out at the Central Production Service Shop (CPSS) of the company; the external audit of the quality management system for provision of oil and petroleum products transfer services finished at the executive office of Transneft Volga Region.

Transneft Volga Region has commissioned a new fire depot at Zenzevatka oil pumping station (NPS) in the Volgograd Regional Oil Pipeline Directorate (ROPD).
On 04-05 October 2017 representatives of Chevron, the US corporation, arrived on a working visit to Transneft Volga Region in the framework of implementation of the programme for cooperation between Transneft and Chevron.
Transneft Volga Region organized a complex emergency response drill (CERD) at Pokrovskaya oil pump station (OPS) of Samara Regional Oil Pipeline Directorates (RPD) and the underwater crossing of Buguruslan – Syzran oil trunk pipeline (OTP) over the Samara river, during which the specialists had to eliminate an imaginary emergency with seepage of oil into the river and a number of failures of the equipment at OPS.
Transneft Volga Region constructed and commissioned three new houses for rotation teams at Novomlinovo, Astakhovo and Satarovskaya oil pump stations (OPS) and two modern area maintenance buildings (AMB) at Kuzmichi line operation dispatcher station (LODS) and Peschanokopskaya OPS.
Employees of five subsidiaries of Transneft participated in the sports activity “National Cross-Country Race - 2017” in Samara Region. Employees of Transneft Volga Region, Chernomortransneft, Transneft Urals, Transneft Siberia, Transneft Upper Volga participated in the races near the lake Sakulino in Novokuybyshevsk.
